    Corporate Sales Administrator

    Job description

    Position: Corporate subscriptions sales administrator

    Reporting to: Circulation Corporate subscription manager

    Department: Circulation

    PURPOSE:

    To support servicing and growth of corporate subscriber sales - by supporting the sales team in the field and administering the sales pipeline.

    CORE FUNCTIONS:

    • Support the corporate subscriber sales team to identify and drive new sales and extend relationships and sales with existing customers
    • Support management of the corporate subscriptions sales pipeline
    • Compile weekly sales reports
    • Improve customer awareness of Business Day, Financial Mail, BusinessLive and other digital products
    • Handle new and existing corporate subscriber queries
    • Assist with corporate account management

    DETAILS OF FUNCTION:

    • Advising new corporate clients on use of our digital and paper products – e.g. How to log into digital sites or ePapers
    • Sending emails to potential customers to coordinate meetings, demonstrations, trial offers and sales
    • Coordinating BusinessLive and other product trials, loading users trial offer details
    • Supporting corporate subs drives including events
    • Managing the pipeline of corporate subs sales – tracking sales, finding new opportunities, following up on behalf on Anthony of Shaheed where follow ups to customers are required
    • Follow up on invoicing and payments
    • Tracking Talis sales where follow ups are required to close the sale or activate subs; also where Paradise flags subs due to non-payment – in those cases we need to get hold of the subscribers before the system locks the sub.
    • BL sales surveys – coordinating surveys to assess value

    REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS

    • Must have at least 5+ years of direct experience of sales administration or customer service – with a demonstrable track record of excellence
    • Must be highly competent with emails – fluent written language skills are essential
    • Must have excellent English language capability -both written and spoken
    • Must have outstanding telephone etiquette
    • Conscientious and always follows up where needed
    • Must have good Microsoft Excel skills
    • Paradise (subscriber management system) skills are advantageous
    • Must be highly motivated and energetic, with the drive and desire to be part of a winning sales team
    • Must have CRM / client relationship / subscriber management experience
    • Must have a track record of successful project / campaign implementation and meeting tight project deadlines
    • Able to build and maintain relationships both internally and externally
