Location: Gauteng, Right to Care offices at Helen Joseph Hospital
Reporting to: Project Support and Systems Manager
The incumbent will be responsible for assisting in the development of a roadmap, user experience and ultimately the success of Right to Care software systems backing up the existing Project Support and Systems Manager. Innovation is key to Right to Care optimization within the non-profit and health industry. The Technical Product Manager will offer in-depth knowledge of customer pain points, product vision, technical experience and the competitive landscape to drive the direction.
Qualifications & Experience
- Degree in Information Systems, Information Technology or Computer Science or related field
- Project Management Certificate (PRINCE II, PMBOK or PMP)
- Expert Microsoft Office capabilities
- Experience with SQL, Oracle, SharePoint or related data storage
- Experience with HTML, JavaScript, PHP or related programming language
- Experience with webpage design, software development and support.
- Experience in the software design process with usability professionals and technology architects
- Experience supporting Agile development processes
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in IT or IS field
- Experience in project coordination Financial or accounting background with exposure to the software technology

- Excellent and proven technical writing skills, writing samples required
- Excellent presentation skills Key Performance Areas amongst others include:
- Gathering and understanding requirements by proactively working with programme managers, users, information technology, analysts and partners.
- Collaborate with the Manager and executives to define the vision, market positioning and feature priorities.
- Work closely with external technical development teams
- Defining user experience, scope releases and production product roadmap.
- Ensures projects meet expectations in terms of functionality, quality, budget and timelines.
- Validates project direction with users throughout the planning, development and deployment phases.
- Capture change requests and support implementation, launch, follow-up and on-going training
- Running SQL reports
- Testing of systems
