JOB PURPOSE

Maximise manufacturing efficiency, reduce all types of losses (SQCDMN)develop capacity, involvement and contribution of all Danoners on plant level.

KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

Safety

• Improve the overall Safety audit score (WISE) year on year
• Foster a climate and culture where Safety, Health and, Environment are addressed effectively and speedily

Cost

• Deliver the required savings year on year and continuously identify opportunities to save costs
• Ensure accuracy of records for auditing purposes

Delivery

• Management of system accuracy
• Daily business reporting on losses
• Cost analysis of losses
• Recommend cost improvement and improvements on productivity to the factory
• Maximise manufacturing efficiency, reduce all types of losses (SQCDMN)develop capacity, involvement and contribution of all Danoners on plant level
• Track and advise business on all labour KPIs ( hours, Tons/FTE, labour utilization)
• Identify root causes of plant non-performances and advise business accordingly
• Accountable for coaching and guiding understanding of losses within plant
• Ensure visible , clear and concise reports to all business levels and manage related queries
• Recommend corrective actions in respect of variations to key customers
• Coach customers on root cause analysis

• Strong skills in project management incl. strong written + verbal communication
• Ability to lead and influence others, be empowering, inspiring and a good coach
• Result orientated, driven and passionate
• Analytical/conceptual thinking incl. helicopter view + deployment /stratification of data
• Ability to transform conceptual thinking into sustainable shop floor applications
• Base strategic decisions on business priorities

Minimum Qualifications

Education - University degree in Commerce or related field

Minimum Experience Required

Work experience -> 3-5 years shop floor experience in processing /manufacturing and sound understanding of input costs across the value chain
