    Assistant Copywriter, Rider & Driver Marketing; SA

    Job description

    We are looking for a Copywriter to Join our Marketing team focusing on the Rider and Driver communications

    Responsibilities

    • Collaborate with various business units to conceptualise communication approaches and tactics in support of strategy.
    • Write compelling and grammatically correct copy for campaigns in line with internal Rider and Driver partner comms guidelines
    • Collaborate with various business units to conceptualise communication approaches and tactics in support of strategy.
    • Meet with colleagues, internal clients and project teams to consider communication and content requirements.
    • Interpret briefs and produce creative and effective ideas, messages and content.
    • Brainstorm themes, visual and copy ideas with other members of the creative team
    • Review copy in initial comms planning documents, written by other members of the team
    • Ensure copy is aligned to Uber brand pillars, tone and language.

    Experience And Qualifications

    • Relevant tertiary qualification in English, Journalism, Public Relations or Linguistics.
    • 3-5 years' experience in copywriting within an agency, corporate or similar environment.

    Brownie Points

    • A basic understanding of HTML.
    • Experience with blogging platforms.
    • Experience with design software (Illustrator, Photoshop)
