Bridges and Highway Structures Engineers at Aurecon

Job description

• Working in the Infrastructure Industry, with a specific focus on Transport Infrastructure such as roads, bridges and railways and airports
• Working on Australian and New Zealand infrastructure projects, in a South African offshore center

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and/ or B.Tech in Civil Engineering and / or Diploma in Civil Engineering.
• 2 - 5 years’ experience in a Civil Engineering Designer/Modeller role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Designing, modelling and/or drafting of transport and civil infrastructure
• Capable of understanding complex engineering problems
• Should be comfortable working in a multidisciplinary team, requiring coordination between discipline interfaces
• Willing to travel within South Africa and to Australia / New Zealand

• Establish and maintain effective internal communication processes that ensure the flow of relevant information.

• Strong understanding of and the ability to apply contemporary and innovative Engineering solutions.
• Experienced in any of our preferred drafting software packages (Revit, with AutoCAD and Civil3D assistance)
• Experienced in any of our preferred design software package (Revit / MIDAS).
• Experience in the following software packages will be an advantage (Navisworks, Infraworks, ProjectWise)
