Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities

We are actively seeking a civil engineer to support the water and wastewater team in the Cape Town office.

• Engineering Management of water and wastewater projects;
• Design of water and wastewater related infrastructure, including water and wastewater treatment process;
• Design of general civil engineering services;
• Engineering analysis;
• Compiling of tender and contractual documents
• Construction monitoring experience
• Health and Safety
• Role model standards for SHEQ performance and behaviour consistent with the company’s health, safety, environmental and quality vision and policies by influencing those around you
• Contributing to the identification of SHEQ risks and driving processes to achieve Zero Harm
• Embracing, displaying and promoting the company values and ensuring a safe working environment is maintained at all times

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• Minimum of a B Eng. / BSc (Civil Engineering)
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in water and wastewater engineering
• A specialised knowledge of the treatment process for water and wastewater
• Specification and evaluation of mechanical plant associated with water and wastewater
• Knowledge of the relevant standards, regulations and legislation in the water and waste water field
