DETAILS OF THE JOB

Position is for a Senior Development Engineer reporting directly to the Trim Engineering manager.

The successful candidate engineer will be responsible for the Design and Development of both Hard and

Soft Trim Automotive parts

QUALIFICATIONS

• National Diploma/ B Degree in Mechanical Engineering/ Tech diploma
• 3 - 5 years’ experience in Automotive industry
• Experience on vehicle maintenance and disassembly
• Normal driving skill

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

• Planning activity, creating questionnaire, executing survey, analyzing data
• Objective data measuring to identify the market requirement
• Collecting data from existing data sources (e.g. Mtab, gcar auto start) confirming vehicle or components, analyzing data and making a report
• Creating definition of evaluation item, condition and criteria based on customers expectation
• Planning and executing subjective evaluation according to Nissan Engineering Methods(NEM) making a report
• Data measurement for clarifying vehicle performance or behavior objectively
• Supporting any test activities based on a request from NML (job req)
• Regular report to NML and R&D in other region
