Job description

IQ Business is looking for experienced Business Analysts both in Johannesburg and Cape Town, who can hit the ground running. The successful individual will be exposed to NewTechnologies and become the future guiding thought leader within the consulting environment. We work using Agile, Scrum software development practices and disciplines.

You Need to Be:

• Educated&Experienced. You need a matric as well as an applicable tertiary equivalent experience or preferably, a relevant diploma or degree from a recognised tertiary institution, 6 years‘ or more experience, ideally in a consulting environment
• Talented. The Business Analyst must have a desire and ability to solve complex business processes
• Engaging and interested. You have to communicate well with various levels, adapt to different project environments and play a flexible role on projects
• ExtraMile There’s no opportunity to slack off. We do what needs to be done, in a work hard play hard environment
• ClientFacing You need to be able to present your services, ideas, findings and solutions to clients in a compelling way. Persuade, engage, inspire – even when you’re in at the deep end

Job Specification

The Business Analyst role involves:

• Identifying, gathering and categorising requirements information
• Identifying and maintaining sources of requirements information
• Analysing and constructing models/specifications of the problem
• Outlining broad aspects of possible solutions to the problem
• Organising all the necessary information around the various models
• Verifying the various models and specifications
• Conducting user workshops
• Preparing the Requirements Model
• Analysis of the existing business processes
• Analysis of the existing technology and people environment supporting the processes
• Delivery of the current and target business process models
