    Specials Projects / Integrations Project Manager

    Job description

    Effective date: ASAP

    Reporting into: Chief Operating Officer

    Purpose of the role:

    The Project Manager will coordinate internal Special IT projects, as well as new client & new supplier integration projects from contract signature to go-live delivery. The core elements of the job are about organising people and time resources, and seeing the project through from inception to completion. The Special Projects Manager will have ultimate responsibility for meeting the business’s or client’s needs, as well as deadlines. He/She will have organizational and communication skills with the ability to manage numerous projects simultaneously. We are looking for a self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit who will actively drive project delivery for Hepstar.

    Key responsibilities:

    • Guide and perform analysis of projects including defining project requirements and scope, as well as impact analysis relating to existing areas of business
    • Manage the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
    • Conduct all necessary meetings to facilitate selection of project services and products
    • Understand technical integration technologies such as API operations, XML and JSON concepts, as well as other web and database technology so decisions can be made on project plan requirements
    • Develop detailed project plans, goals, budgets, and identify resources needed
    • Coordinate internal resources and third parties for the flawless execution of projects
    • Ability to manage and communicate with internal and external resources on a global level understanding impact of cultural, as well as time zone differences
    • Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time and within scope
    • Continuously monitor and track project progress and manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques
    • Ensure that all project stakeholders are kept updated at all times
    • Regularly report back on project progress to management
    • Organise and manage all phases of the project to ensure on-time completion
    • Assemble and coordinate project team members, including the assignment of individual responsibilities
    • Responsible for project plan documentation, as well as the storage and recordkeeping for future reference
    • Successfully establish, manage and maintain the relationship with the client and all project stakeholders

    REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

    Qualification:

    • Relevant degree
    • Project Management Qualification to your advantage

    Experience:

    • Minimum 3-5 years IT project management
    • Proven track record of successful and on-time project completion
    • Agile project management experience
    • Experience in managing internal and external teams;
    • Previous experience working in the GDS or e-commerce space advantageous;
    • Experience in project budget management and requirement analysis
    • Proven track record of building and managing strong client relationships
