Job description

My Client is looking for an exceptional candidate to fulfil the role of Software Project Manager.

Requirement:

• 7 years’ experience as a Project Manager Full SDLC experience/exposure. (preferably in the Financial, Logistics industry)
• Business Analysis experience essentail
• Experience of user acceptance testing of software
• Sound understanding of transactional systems

• Project Manager
• Ensure that priorities from stakeholders are understood and managed.
• Establish project plan and initiate project mobilization by confirming project scope, estimate, resources, roles and responsibilities.
• Monitor and control execution of project though Analyse, Design, Build, Test and Release phases.
• Ensure tracking of progress against plans and due dates, provide proactive feedback to stakeholders on project progress.
• Provide leadership and decision making support by establishing project governance
• Perform project reporting including overall performance of the programme and project completion documentation.
• Identify and escalate any changes in scope / timelines to the IT Programme Manager in any project that will impact IT roadmap delivery.
• Ensure that projects are structured according to selected methodology for that specific project.
• Ensure adherence to IT Processes and Procedures
• Business Analyst
• Lead the conceptual phase of projects to stimulate discussions with stakeholders of business areas.
• Facilitate JAD sessions with business sponsors / users to ensure effective requirements elicitation.
• Work with Business to determine the value add (anticipated business benefits) of implementing a particular solution.
• Collaborate with developers, architects and Business to determine the best fit solution in line with current technology, planned future IT developments and architecture best practices.
• Propose alternate solutions where appropriate. Highlight risks and benefits of alternative solutions.
• Creating, analysing, and validating detailed functional specifications.
• Ensure appropriate business process design (AS-IS / TO-BE definitions), taking into account all relevant stakeholder input.
• Delivering elements of systems design, including data migration rules, business rules, wireframes, or other detailed deliverables
• Following up with business to clear up ambiguity and possible misunderstanding on the development teams’ behalf.
• Create detailed functional test documents.
• Ensure solution quality and completeness through formal testing.
• Ensure successful rollout of solutions through user awareness and training.
• Ensure that post implementation reviews are conducted to ensure solution stability and business benefits realisation.
