Role Description:

• Business Analysis within a systems development and integration project environment.
• Analyse and elicit business requirements and translate them into solutions.
• Document requirements and functional specifications.
• Engage with stakeholders at various levels and conduct scoping, requirements and design workshops
• Use of best practices tools, methods and techniques to drive the analytical process
• Identify and analyse a large number of source systems and have the ability to map data and design new efficient data models
• Drive out testing strategies and ensure quality through the execution of such plans.

Requirements

Qualifications / Technical Skills:

• Com Information Systems Honours degree or equivalent.
• Diploma in Business Analysis

Experience:

• 3 to 5 years’ experience in business analysis primarily in a financial or insurance environment.
• BI exposure essential.
• Exposure to data analysis, mapping and presentation advantageous.
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
• Ability to comprehend new and difficult technology issues and translate them for business understanding.
• Demonstrated understanding and passion for systems and usability.
• Skill in analytical tools and techniques as defined by IIBA or similar professional body
• Preference to candidates that have completed or working towards the CCBA®/CBAP® Structured Study Programme
• Exposure to Agile Methods
