    UX Designer

    Job description

    As a UX Designer at Hubble Studios, your main role will be to enhance the learning experience of our product by improving usability and accessibility. You are responsible for delivering creative solutions to a range of teams and multimedia projects, including e-learning, web, brand, print, games and app design.

    Responsibilities

    • Producing end-to-end UX deliverables for learning management systems, portals and dashboards, including user-interface design, navigation design and graphic design
    • Champion the customer and learning experience and take ownership of all UX requirements
    • Design solutions that improve usability and increase conversion
    • Translate project requirements into wireframes and mock-ups that lead to intuitive user experiences
    • Design and deliver wireframes, user stories, user journeys, and mock-ups optimised for a wide range of devices and interfaces
    • Identify design problems and devise elegant solutions
    • Work to a brief, solve problems creatively and adapt style if needed
    • Provide quality control over concepts, processes, deliverables and projects
    • Technical and creative up-skilling of staff, as necessary
    • Provide guidance on research and development projects, drive innovation and advise on new techniques and approaches to further Hubble Studios mission and vision

    Our ideal candidate has the following skills/experience

    • A qualification in UX design, graphic design or equivalent
    • 3 to 5 years’ work experience in relevant field
    • Technical knowledge and proficiency of design software essential (Adobe CS6: Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop)
    • Experience in HTML and CSS (advantageous)
    • Experience working with e-learning platforms such as Moodle LMS (advantageous)
    • Experience with rapid e-learning authoring tools e.g. Articulate Storyline; Captivate; Lectora (advantageous)
    • Other important attributes
    • An ability to interpret learning objectives and how to support them through intuitive and logical design
    • Exceptional attention to detail
    • Ability to manage both people and projects
    • An ability to translate client brands
    • A focus on achieving client business objectives
    • An understanding of Hubble Studios' service offerings

    Job details

    Remuneration: Negotiable depending on experience and qualification
