Individual on this position will assist the South African Management Team Directors with analysis & preparation of Forecasts, Budgets, Strategic Plans, New Product Development, New Business tenders and other ad hoc commercial requirements with a view to adding value to the decision making process of senior management.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Reporting of monthly results to the business including regular financial reporting internally and to our joint venture partner.
• Work with Supply Chain Finance and Financial Accounting teams to ensure all reporting deadlines are met and that all SOX and other Accounting Policies are being correctly applied in the South Africa Business.
• To assist commercial teams in preparing financial reports/overviews for South Africa Dry on a regular basis.
• To assess and financially validate all new business proposals proposed by Account managers as well as assist in the management of existing business.
• Limited involvement in monthly balance sheet reconciliations

REQUIRMENTS:

Education 

• BCOM Degree CA/CIMA
• Experience in FMCG environment is essential.
• High level of Excel spread sheeting skills required.
• Ability to work to tight deadlines imperative
• Experience in liaising with non-financial personnel imperative.
• Preferably with Supply Chain Finance experience as well as commercial.
• Outgoing & confident personality who enjoys interaction with finance and non-finance teams
• Attention to detail and desire to improve models & processes whilst managing change.
