PURPOSE OF THE JOB

Overseas Chief Project Logistician forms part of a Global Project Logistician function R50. The focus of this position will be on the new model introduction (H60A).

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• Bachelors’ Degree in Industrial Engineering/ Logistics/ Supply Chain Management
• 3 – 5 years Supply Chain and Logistics Management experience

MAJOR ACTIVITIES

• Validation of Logistics Assumption And Opportunities
• Logistics Cost Per Unit function reply for plant allocation study
• Analysis of Total Delivered Cost (TDC) / Logistics Cost Per Unit (LCPU) with KPIs and proposal to the project
• Packaging Engineering activities within the digital and physical phase of the project
• Logistics Cost Per Unit commitment and achievement in all project milestones
• Top Alliance adherence
• Logistics Cost Variance Analysis
• Propose Logistics cost to Program Director for initial economics study, forecasting SCM performance and Market &Economics impact, which will be the base point for the program.
• Optimized Logistics cost proposal to Program Director based (Kari-Kosetsu) assumption.
• Challenge Logistics Cost Per Unit with km & M3 simultaneous study
• Cost monitor between milestones to catch up the Cost Reduction status.
• Packaging Engineering in VC-lot cost reduction activity
• LCPU commitment to Program Director which is well optimized and challenged for best Total delivered Cost with Sourcing(km) and packaging(m3) simultaneous study and SCM technical performance
• Logistics Cost Per Unit reply for competitive price setting, with challenges after VC-lot package study and inbound production preparation.
