Reconciliation Accountant at Capfin

Job description

We have an exciting & challenging contract position for a suitably qualified and experienced person who will be responsible for the allocation of the Van As Trust Account in suspense. It will require the use of assumptions and the drill down to account level.

Requirements

Key Performance Areas:

• Responsible for the comparison of the identified Fees included in direct payments to the Direct Payment reports for the period October 2014 to date.
• Responsible for identifying Legal Handover accounts now under Debt Review on the Direct Payment Remittance Reports for the period October 2014 to date.
• Responsible for the comparison of the Direct Payment Remittance Reports to the Transactions files for the period October 2014 to date in order to determine overpayments.
• Ad hoc investigation/enquiry depending on the findings of the above-mentioned points.

Qualifications:

Degree or similar (Accounting or Financial Management)

Experience

3-5 years accounting experience

Functional Competencies

• MS Excel (advanced)
