Job description

Key responsibilities (but not limited to):

• Understand, design and build data flows using IAM’s standard technologies (mainly Talend platform and SQL Server (T-SQL) stored procedures).
• Work with Project Managers and Business Analysts to understand business requirements for systems integrations.
• Assist Application Support teams with trouble-shooting and resolution of data integration incidents, in 3rd line capacity.
• Assist other IT teams in understanding IAM’s data integration strategy and design patterns, and helping them to build solutions that comply with these standards.
• Assist the Manager – IT Development with projects and other initiatives as required.

Technical Knowledge and Experience

• Relevant tertiaty qualification
• Use of and experience with Talend Data Integration platform highly desirable
• Data Integration technologies (Informatica, MS-SSIS, or similar)
• vData, Netik, Eagle Pace or similar Data Warehouse technology
• Strong SQL Server, T-SQL
• Previous Investment / Asset Management environment experience advantageous
