ROLE PURPOSE:

Manage the planning, execution and tracking of initiatives according to deadlines and budget parameters in order to achieve a strategic objective or business benefit.

REQUIREMENTS:

• 5-7 years demonstrable Operations Manager / Operations Excellence Retail Sales experience within Financial Services
• 3-5 years Programme or Project Management experience
• Change management experience (preferred)
• Experience with Financial Services Distribution Channel monitoring and reporting
• Must have experience engaging with all levels of organisational leadership (EXCO to Junior Managers) - (preferred)

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

• Track and ensure the delivery of the day-to-day operational activities within the channel environment
• Consistently monitor and analyse business processes and performance in order to track and compile accurate reports.
• Manage change management projects and initiatives within the Channel to ensure flexibility, change readiness and adaptability of the team.
• Build strong relationships with various stakeholders with the view to align, optimise and integrate business processes and service delivery.
• Track and drive delivery of a portfolio of projects in line with the business objectives, cost and time parameters.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to implement projects that support the achievement of business objectives.
• Assist with special projects and assignments and take on any other management responsibilities as required.
• Collate information from various stakeholders, meetings and engagements and provide relevant feedback and reports to the Channel leadership team
• Facilitate communication with Channel leadership and broader teams
• Provide authoritative, expertise and advice to clients and stakeholders
• Build and maintain relationships with clients and internal and external stakeholders
• Contribute to the process of negotiating objective and realistic service level agreements, monitor appropriateness and recommend adjustments
• Define service practices which builds rewarding relationships, encourages innovation and allows others to provide exceptional client service.
• Deliver on service level agreements made with clients and internal and external stakeholders in order to ensure that client expectations are managed
• Make recommendations to improve client service and fair treatment of clients within area of responsibility
• Participate and contribute to a culture which builds rewarding relationships, facilitates feedback and provides exceptional client service
