A vacancy exists within Hans Merensky Holdings based at Bedfordview for a suitably qualified and experienced

Responsible for cashbook reconciliation, monthly debit order and EFT loading. General Ledger reconciliation and managing intercompany accounts. Assisting the accounting function for Shared Services. Monthly completion of adhoc recurring journals and accounts payable as well as additional adhoc duties.

Minimum Requirements

• Matric
• Post Matric Bookkeeping Diploma
• A minimum of 3 – 5 years' relevant bookkeeping experience in a similar field
• Computer literate with a good working knowledge of Microsoft products, specifically spreadsheets
• Knowledge of MS Dynamics AX preferable (or other accounting package literacy)
• Sound accounting knowledge including treatment of VAT.
• Sound knowledge of performing reconciliations
• Sound Knowledge of Cashbook Reconciliations
• Knowledge of Foreign exchange banking transactions preferable

Skills

• Ability to multi-task and stay organised
• Be accurate, methodical and pay attention to detail
• Have good communication skills, fluency in English, both written and spoken
• Ability to work to deadlines and deal with peak workloads
