Job description

A Cape Town based Managed Service Provider that offers hosting and networking solutions along with strategic consulting to clients all over the world is seeking ​a Network Engineer to join their team. Must have solid experience with networks (CISCO, Firewalls, Routers, Switches, Servers, etc)

DUTIES

• Support, maintain and monitor network infrastructure.
• Perform a ​supporting role​ in implementing new projects.

REQUIREMENTS

• 3-4 years IT work experience in a relevant role​ e.g. System Administrator, Network Engineer, etc.
• Relevant tertiary IT qualification
• Solid understanding and practical experience with Cisco - Firewalls, Routers, Switches, Servers, etc.

• Ability to innovate under pressure, analyze complex problems and find solutions.
• Excellent language and visual skills for producing well-structured technical documentation and operational procedures
