    Payroll Clerk / Co-Ordinator (360hub_PayOff)

    Job Overview

    • The Payroll Co-Ordinator will be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of payroll and the administration of employee benefits. This role ensures compliance with statutory requirements, supports employee queries, manages leave and timekeeping records, and maintains accurate reporting for payroll and benefits. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, accurate, and able to work independently while supporting the People and Finance teams.

    Key Responsibilities

    Payroll Administration

    • Process end-to-end payroll accurately and on time.
    • Ensure compliance with payroll laws, regulations, and company policies.
    • Prepare and reconcile statutory submissions (SARS EMP201/EMP501, UIF, SDL, IRP5s, etc.).
    • Manage payroll-related queries and resolve discrepancies.
    • Maintain payroll records, including garnishees, pension schedules, union schedules, and staff loans.

    Time & Attendance

    • Maintain employee time and attendance records (EcoTime or equivalent).
    • Ensure accurate capturing of leave and sick leave.
    • Perform payroll-related HR record-keeping.

    Benefits Administration

    • Administer employee benefits including retirement funds, medical aid, funeral policies, and union agreements.
    • Act as a point of contact for employee benefits queries.
    • Coordinate with external brokers and service providers on benefits matters.

    Compliance & Reporting

    • Ensure payroll compliance with employment contracts, collective agreements, and labour legislation.
    • Prepare monthly payroll reports, reconciliations, and cost-to-company calculations.
    • Support reporting requirements for internal dashboards, management insights, and audits.

    Process Support & Improvement

    • Maintain and update payroll procedures and control matrices.
    • Support continuous improvement of payroll processes to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
    • Provide back-office support to HR and Finance teams as required.

    Qualifications & Experience

    • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Finance, or related field preferred.
    • 3 years proven experience in payroll administration.
    • Strong knowledge of SARS compliance, tax regulations, and payroll best practices.
    • Proficiency in HRIS & payroll systems (SAGE 300 preferred).
    • Advanced Excel skills and strong numerical accuracy.
    • Experience with employee benefits administration advantageous.

    Lodge Reservationist (360hub_lodgeres)

    Role Purpose

    • The Reservationist will manage inbound reservation enquiries for all DHR lodges, connect with guests, and provide a smooth, professional, and personal booking experience. This role is focused on turning enquiries into confirmed bookings while delighting the guest with thoughtful recommendations, upsells, and insider knowledge about our lodge and the surrounding area. The role has further scope across the Dream resorts portfolio, and opportunity to entrench yourself with our anchor resorts, hotels & lodges curating experiences across the business for travellers in due course.

    Key Responsibilities

    Reservation Management

    • Handle inbound reservations via phone, email, and online platforms.
    • Confirm bookings accurately and efficiently, ensuring all details are correctly captured.
    • Manage changes, cancellations, and special requests professionally.

    Sales & Upselling

    • Understand guest needs and tailor recommendations to enhance their stay.
    • Actively upsell packages, experiences, and lodge offerings to maximise revenue.
    • Close deals confidently while maintaining a guest-first approach.

    Guest Experience

    • Deliver a warm, personalised booking experience that reflects the spirit of Dream Hotels & Resorts.
    • Build rapport with guests, making them feel valued and excited about their  lodge visit.
    • Provide insider knowledge about the lodge, the region, and bush travel tips.

    Collaboration

    • Liaise with lodge management for availability, promotions, and guest feedback.

    EXPERIENCE

    • Minimum 2–3 years’ reservations experience, within a lodge or safari environment.
    • Proven track record in closing bookings and upselling additional experiences.
    • Strong understanding of the guest booking journey and the importance of personalised service.

    SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to connect with a variety of guests.
    • A natural salesperson who enjoys exceeding targets and enhancing guest stays.
    • Highly organised and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage bookings accurately.
    • Comfortable working independently and remotely.
    • Tech-savvy and able to work with reservation systems and online communication tools.

    • As a Waitron at 10 2nd Avenue Houghton Estate, your role is essential in providing excellent customer service and ensuring a positive dining experience for guests at the hotel. You will be responsible for greeting guests, escorting them to their tables, presenting menus, taking orders, and answering questions about menu items. Additionally, you will be responsible for accurately recording food and beverage orders, communicating special requests or dietary restrictions to the kitchen, and ensuring that orders are prepared and served correctly.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Customer Service: Greet guests, escort them to their tables, present menus, take orders, answer questions about menu items, make recommendations, and ensure that guests have a pleasant and memorable dining experience.
    • Order Taking: Accurately record food and beverage orders, input them into the POS system, communicate special requests or dietary restrictions to the kitchen, and ensure that orders are prepared and served correctly.
    • Food and Beverage Knowledge: Have a good understanding of the menu items, including ingredients, preparation methods, and specials, to provide detailed descriptions and recommendations to guests.
    • Upselling: Suggest additional items, such as appetisers, desserts, or beverages, to enhance the dining experience and increase sales, while being attentive to guests' preferences and budget.
    • Table Maintenance: Set and clear tables, replenish supplies, such as condiments and utensils, ensure table cleanliness, and provide prompt table service throughout the meal.
    • Collaboration with Kitchen Staff: Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to coordinate order timing, address any special requests or modifications, and ensure that food is prepared and served in a timely manner.

    • Customer Feedback: Solicit feedback from guests about their dining experience, address any concerns or issues promptly, and relay feedback to management to improve service quality and guest satisfaction.
