    Maintenance Technician

    Job description

    • Knowledge of and follow the Company’s Internal Regulation, the Labour Collective Agreement and the specific working procedures of the related department/company and of the legislation connected to his work.
    • Follow the quality standards, presented in advance.
    • Learn the rules; understand them; follow them; and avoid short cuts;
    • Take personal responsibility for keeping yourself, your co-workers, and equipment free of hazards;
    • Be certain that you completely understand instructions before starting work;
    • Seek information on any hazardous chemicals you work with in order to understand their dangers and how to protect yourself and the environment;
    • Take part in the employee participation system and support other employees in their assigned roles under the environmental, safety and health program;
    • Report all accidents and unsafe conditions and acts to your supervisor or use the system set up to facilitate reporting;
    • Consider your job tasks effectively performed only if done safely;
    • Actively participate in the environmental, health and safety program (e.g. planned inspections, safety suggestions, etc.).

    Required Skills

    Educational Requirements:

    • Grade 12 with Technical experience pneumatics & Mechanics
    • Computer Literacy
    • At least 5 years experience in wire harness automotive manufacturing facility.
    • Understanding of Cutting Machines , Splice Machines and Computer Literacy.
    • Previous working experience in harness plant would be advantageous

    Required Experience

    • PC Skills (Excel intermediate/advance, PowerPoint & Word)
    • Knowledge of mechanical setting tooling
    • Knowledge in crimping/splicing equipment
    • Knowledge in Schleuniger and KOMAX cutting machines
    • Problem-Solving & Analytical and systematically
    • Organizing capacity. Initiative and Team spirit
