Job Requirements:

• LLB.
• Computer literate.
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft programs including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience with Ghost Practice will be advantageous.
• Sound knowledge of the law and litigation procedures.
• Ability to draft contracts.
• Own client base is advantageous.
• Ability to work independently.
• Professional presentation.
• Attention to detail and organised.
• Own transport and valid driver’s license.
• A minimum of 2 years’ experience as litigation ATTORNEY is mandatory (High Court and Magistrates’ Court).

Job Specifications:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for -

• Independently consulting with clients and potential clients.
• Taking instructions and providing legal opinions.
• Independently managing a litigation instruction from beginning to end.
• Drafting all necessary court papers and relevant correspondence.
• Managing clients’ files proactively.
• Attending to research on various aspects of the law.
• Drafting various commercial contracts for clients.
• Loading time and fees onto Ghost Practice.
• Prepare briefs for Advocates.
• Liaising with Sheriffs and all service providers.
• Managing Debtors.
• Sourcing new clients.
