Job description

Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, the incumbent will be based in JHB.

Requirements:

• An in-depth knowledge of the Liquor business, with particular emphasis on the Retail and Wholesale Business as well as the Tavern/Shebeen trade is essential.
• Growing the business with our existing brands through the above mentioned outlets.
• A dynamic business leader who can implement and drive sound business strategies.
• The person must possess good business analytical ability.
• Someone who is an excellent decision maker.
• Excellent trade relationships a huge advantage.
• The ability to identify new opportunities.
• A team player with excellent leadership ability.
• Wine knowledge an advantage but not essential.

Experience required:

• A proven track record of the above.
• The ability to manage a team of 7 and which will grow.
• A minimum of 5 years management experience in a similar position.
• Minimum 3 – 5 years’ experience in the Main Market industry within a similar environment.
• An individual is able to communicate in all major African languages.
• An individual who can slot into a dynamic but diverse sales team.
