Group Procurement Manager (Group / Procurement / Commercial / Supply / Purchasing) at CA Global

Job Description:

Manage and develop all procurement, supply and shipping activities for the business unit in accordance to policies, procedures, Group initiatives and general Procurement best practises.  Develop and coordinate procurement strategies to support the company Strategic goals. Reports directly in to the CFO.
 
Responsibilities:

• Define, develop and manage procurement Processes, procedures and systems.
• Continuous review and consideration for the enhancement of policies and procedures.
• Manage all audits.
• Provide the business unit with procurement, supplier, shipping and supply chain contract management activities.
• Develop mutual respectful relationships with suppliers.
• Learning and Development of staff.
• Define clear key performance indicators for staff and for procurement function
• Promote and comply with highest ethical and corporate governance principles
• Manage the transformation requirements.
• Setup BBBEE requirements and a plan to maximise points for the scorecard.
• Develop a system to record BBBEE activities and progress.

Requirements: Qualification and Skill

• Professional diploma/Degree in procurement and supply
• Commercial qualification
• At least 5 years’ experience in Procurement Manager role
• 3-5 years’ experience in a Technical Project Purchasing department
