Group Financial Manager at MFS Africa

The role

We seek a dynamic and motivated accounting professional to join the finance team at MFS Africa. The Group Financial Manager will be responsible for preparing management accounts and other financial reports for the group, supervising accountants in subsidiary companies, creating and improving financial statement templates, and other key financial management functions.

This position is based in Johannesburg.

Desired Skills and Experience:

Key Responsibilities

• Completing consolidations and preparation of group management accounts
• Implementation of standard monthly management reporting packages across all subsidiaries
• Design and implement fully compliant IFRS financial statements templates
• Financial reporting to shareholders, directors, regulators and any other authorised parties on an appropriate and regular basis
• Management of relevant tax issues to comply with all legal requirements in the best possible manner
• Management of budgetary and forecasting processes and analysis of variances thereto
• Management of all auditing functions including statutory audits
• Provide oversight and review of work completed by subsidiary accountants
