Want to make a difference? Want to be heard? This small but well known company takes pride in their strong 50 year presence in managing, developing and owning properties. They have amassed a multi-Billion Rand property portfolio which is privately owned and based mainly in Gauteng and the North of South Africa. As a family orientated company, they are looking for a candidate to fit in culturally with their small but busy Asset Management team. Reporting directly to the Head of Asset Management, you will be analysing and reporting on the performance of industrial, commercial and retail spaces across the country. In doing so, you will shape their company's view on when to buy, sell or upgrade particular assets or properties. By continuously comparing you will ensure that they are operating at maximum efficiently and at market related levels of occupancy, rates and conditions. In a fast paced environment with 'nowhere to hide', they will rely on you to make accurate reports based on the leasing agreements, letting commissions, monthly turnovers and Amortisation schedules. Compiling monthly turnover presentations based on incomes and expenses of the portfolio is also essential. On a daily basis assistance will be required with the financial & research aspects of due diligence studies, and your understanding of all cash distributions will be tested and relied on to provide accurate assessments. Although this is a support role, you will need to have at least 2 practical experience in commercial property industry in order to have real working knowledge of its moving parts. Finance or property related degree is essential, as is fluency in both English and Afrikaans. Working with large amounts of data simultaneously as well as be able to coping under pressure is essential traits for this position.
