Your opportunity

As Data Analyst, Your Primary Responsibilities Will Be

• Contributing to product development with meaningful actionable insights, through effective reporting, by linking web analytics results to tons of data from other sources
• Create dashboards to measure KPI’s
• Performing advanced data analysis over terabytes of information
• Manipulating complex data-sets to improve business development
• Adding value by supporting and promoting data-driven management culture
• Identifying and answering key strategic questions
• Supporting decision making processes with clear recommendations
• Support Ad-hoc analytical needs
• Cooperating with Product & Tech team
• Lead fraud detection and prevention initiatives by manipulating complex data-sets.
• Create dashboards to measure our main KPIs
• Be part of finding success definitions for a high quality ad, seller and buyer on OLX
• Support the creation of a quantification of our support work.
• Perform advanced data analysis over terabytes of information
• Add value by supporting and promoting data-driven management culture
• Support and evaluate retention initiatives
• Support decision making processes with clear recommendations.

What you will need to be successful in this role:

• 3 years relevant experience
• Bachelor's degree
• Be curious and empowered by nature
• Experience in mySQL and Excel/Google Sheets (PivotTables)
• Working knowledge of data warehousing concepts
• Working knowledge of at least one data analysis package (R, Python, SAS)
• Detecting patterns in bad user behavior, and supporting the team to prevent this.
• Strong data visualization and communication skills
• Ability of learning fast, adopting new tools and building new skills when necessary
• Collaborative, open and flexible mindset with critical thinking
• Fluent in English
• Understanding or experience of e-commerce in general or classifieds business in particular will be an advantage
• Working collaboratively in a team, focusing collectively on common goals such as increasing conversions through the funnel.
