I presently have a fantastic opportunity available on behalf of a reputable consultancy company who are headquartered in Europe. The position which I have available is for a Business Development Manager to expand the PV, CSP and Wind Energy Consulting business. I am looking for candidates from Engineering Consultancy background who are keen to be based in Cape Town.

This position will report directly back to the Europe HQ and Executive Management and with this being a relatively large company it will offer the opportunity for a long standing career. The key tasks involved include

• New business development and Revenue growth within Wind, PV and CSP;
• Build and manage relationships within industry (Wind, PV and CSP);
• Build and grow client database;
• Ensure the brand and reputation are upheld
• Keep up to date of industry information

The key requirements for this position include

• Relevant tertiary qualification;
• Business Development or Sales experience
• Minimum 5 years' experience in the industry (Wind, PV or CSP), preferably in project development;
• In case of project development Wind, knowledge of WASP and WindPro Software;
• Proficient in MS Office packages;
• A willingness to travel.
