Purpose of the role:

The Prime Services and Equities Platform Lead will lead a team developers, BA’s, testers and application support that provide 1st, 2nd, and 3rd line support for the applications within the Prime Services and Equities Post-Trade domain in Global Markets. They are also responsible for build, project and production support work in the environment. The role will be delivery and management focused.

Key Focus Areas:

• Management and Leadership
• Responsible for resource management and the allocation of work based on priorities
• Negotiation of contracts, rates and license and support fees
• Performance management and career development of team members
• Lead the team and create a roadmap for area where it is clear what functionality moves on to the new Murex platform and which are executed on other platforms
• Ensure that the GM Technology requirement for technology improvements to existing platforms and toolsets are prioritized e.g. Upgrades and Maintenance tasks
• Liaise and maintain healthy working relationships with the various RMB Divisions /Departments e.g. Prime Services, Equities, PM’s, Administrators, DBA’s, Infrastructure etc.

Qualification and Experience

• A graduate qualification in a Business, Financial Engineering and/or Computer Science degree
• 5+ years’ experience in Capital Markets
• 2 years IT Service Management experience
• Strong financial modeling experience
• Experience in Capital Markets
• Technical Analysis and Design
• Have an in-depth understanding of the Prime Services and Equities Post-Trade environment for Capital Markets
• Have a working understanding of the underlying platform
• Optimization and enhancement platform execution

• Keep abreast of all changes within the Prime Services and Equities environment and assist with impact analysis on the applications you support. Adapt and/or recommend solutions that cater for these changes.
