PURPOSE OF POSITION

To ensure that the current SLA as per required in the South 32 contract is met and service improvement. M aintenance, repairs, replacement and installation of hose nozzles, transmitter coils, VIU 35 units, Data pass, Wireless technology Enhance, TLS 2, TLS 350, EMR3, Curb side pumps, GVR units on fixed sites as well as the programming of these units.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure Gilbarco AFS Health & Safety procedures and policy compliance
• Ensure MINE Health & Safety procedures and policy compliance
• Comply with every approved operation and maintenance procedures.
• Complete job cards as per Gilbarco AFS SOP’s when required
• Ensure that repairs are attended to within a reasonable time based on contractual requirements between Gilbarco AFS and the Client.
• Ensure availability for evening and weekend stand-by duty outs.
• Ensure that all operational issues be communicated to Site Manager/ Territory manager for immediate attention.

MEASURES OF PERFORMANCE (INDICATORS)

• NM/PI’s, HSSE Policies both Customer and Gilbarco AFS
• Odo Stills - <5% of total fleet
• Daily Maintenance tasks
• Site and Bowser inspections
• Fleet Exceptions - <0

Personal Qualifications & Experience

Education/Achievements

• Grade 12
• Computer Literate
• N1 – N3 Electrical Engineering Light Current (as per level requirements)
• IT Background (A+ & N+)
• Trade Test (Electronics)
• PLC

Experience / Knowledge

• 1 years Technician Experience advantageous
• Safe use of hand tools.
• Safe working practices - HSSE
• Mine Health and Safety Act
