Prestigious Entrepreneurial Financial Services Concern in JHB North seeks experienced, dynamic, savvy Insurance Executive with proven track record in the Commercial short-term sphere, to head up their Commercial Insurance Brokerage division.

MINIMUM EDUCATION / QUALIFICATIONS

• Relevant tertiary degree
• Relevant Insurance related qualifications and Accreditations (including FAIS)

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE

• Minimum 8-10 years in an executive role within the short term commercial division of an Insurance company / brokerage
• Extensive Commercial short term insurance experience for high nett worth clients - essential
• Excellent technical knowledge of insurance products and industry trends

REMUNERATION

R1.5 million negotiable

KEY TASKS

• Head up Commercial Insurance division
• Grow portfolio to achieve strategic divisional objectives
• Conversion of existing client base in other divisions
• Develop and execute new business strategies
• Ensure Operational effectiveness
• Responsible for the divisional budget
• Manage staff to achieve divisional targets
• Develop and maintain client relationships
• Provide insightful and strategic advice to clients
• Ensuring profitability of portfolio
• Keep up to date with relevant legislation and insurance trends
• Financial reporting
• Risk management
