The Role

A mixed mainstream Primary School based in Barnet is currently seeking an experienced Learning Support Assistant able to identify individuals' needs and support pupils learning environment. The school is known for their excellent SEN staff and invests in the pupils extra curricular activities, where they have a wide variety of facilities to encourage opportunities outside the classroom

The Candidate

• The ideal LSA will have experience in working with individuals who may be physically disabled, have dyslexia, autism, behavioural difficulties or be emotionally vulnerable.
• Working as a LSA will require working with equipment and facilities in order to capture the candidates' interest and stimulate their learning.

Skills/Experience Required

• Experience of working with SEN children
• Extensive knowledge of the UK National Curriculum
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
