    Business Analyst Business Analyst : Marketing Technology

    Job description

    Role Overview

    We are looking to employ a Business Analyst (BA) to play a key role in the technology implementation for a major client. The BA will also assist in analysing and interpreting data, and assisting the client team in taking actionable decisions based on the data being processed.

    Reporting:

    The Business Analyst will report to Andre Fick – Consulting Director (MEA)

    Responsibilities:

    • Have strong problem-solving focus, and be able to think strategically about Digital Marketing solutions
    • Ability to gather and document functional, informational and non-functional requirements
    • Understand and be able to produce common BA artefacts, including business cases and functional specifications
    • Be able to model processes, data, organisation and interfaces using strong modelling skills
    • To analyse and interpret data from different digital marketing platforms and provide the project stakeholders with accurate and relevant information
    • Ensure delivery of all services and solutions within timelines
    • Develop strong working relationships with the client team
    • Compose and execute online technology strategic plans and implementations
    • Interface with relevant internal and client stakeholders to accomplish business and implementation strategies
    • Provide online, strategic and business insights to clients and the rest of the company
    • Liaising with Acceleration team on deliverables and implementation
    • Liaising with the client team on insights and analyses for the client team based on data evaluation regarding:
    • Evaluation based on key strategies and business requirements to be agreed with client and developed over time
    • Availability to the client team onsite when needed

    Experience and Skills required:

    • Tertiary education, preferably in IT
    • A Certification or Diploma in Business Analysis
    • 3 years’ work experience in the Digital Marketing Field
    • 5 years business analysis/business consulting experience
    • Solid grasp of marketing technology
    • Excellent client facing skills and delivery methodology
    • Customer Experience:
    • Understanding of CX Principles
    • Experience Atlas, Maps, Journeys and Touchpoints
    • Experience in DX (Digital Experience)
    • Executing CX strategies
    • Product design strategy execution
    • Content testing and User Experience
    • CRM:
    • CRM data models
    • Database marketing
    • Lifecycles - customer and product
    • Marketing Functions: (in order of importance)
    • Direct Digital (email, SMS, MMS & Push)
    • CMS and content arbitration/atomisation
    • Web Analytics
    • Social (communities, content)
    • Paid (Social and S earch)
    • Experience with RFP’s
