Key Result Areas:
- Management of long term and/or short term continuous improvement projects, across various Customers (RSA & Africa)
- Compile and finalise project plans prior to project execution including targets, milestones, costs, resources, start and finish dates, durations and sequences of events
- Ensure that planned activities meet set criteria, giving reasons for non-compliance
- Manage the Project Life Cycle; planning, execution, closure including financial and risk components of projects
- Evaluate and manage scope changes, defining the consequences, determining impact and obtaining approval to continue or abort the project
- Obtain project signoff, ensuring that deliverables have been met, that customers are satisfied and that a post mortem has been conducted
- Maintain Project Systems, resolve system user access queries and capture baseline cost and revenue budgets on Astea Service Alliance.
- Ensure that projects are registered and project numbers are issued
- Facilitate workshops to produce a signed-off scope of work
Qualifications & Knowledge:
- Matric
- Project Management qualification – PMP/ PMBOK/ Prince2 and preferably Agile
- Software development Life Cycle
- General knowledge of specific ICT Services and Solutions
- In-depth knowledge of project management
- Sound knowledge of business principles and procedures
- Knowledge of strategic and operational planning
- Sound knowledge and experience of ITIL principles and ISO 9000 principles
Experience:
- 3 - 5 years’ experience in managing projects
- Project management experience in the IT, Financial, and Retail industry
- PM in Software – and Application development and Systems Integration environment
