Job description

Job Purpose
- To manage and oversee a team responsible for the development and maintenance of best practice models and assessment strategies in line with regulations (where applicable) in order to facilitate world class risk management.
- Provide input into strategic objectives and ensure delivery thereof.
- Managing a team that is responsible for the following:
Job Responsibilities
- Stakeholder management
- Reviewing models, reports and ad hoc analytical requests
- Planning and manage expectations
Minimum Job Requirements

Essential Qualifications
- Matric/Grade 12
- Post graduate degree
Preferred Qualification

Post graduate degree in Statistics/Mathematics, CFA/ FRM/CQF, Engineering

Skills
- SAS or SQL experience required
- Microsoft excel, power point and word
Minimum Experience Level

At least 6 years relevant analytical experience in the financial industry (or similar)
