    Account Management Direct Advanced

    What this role is:

    • The Senior Account Executive is a consultative sales professional, responsible for driving revenue growth and bringing in net new business from prospects and current customers and Partners
    • In this role you will help to solve the business needs of prospects and customers with Genesys solutions. You will be responsible for coordinating resources and managing the sales campaign across the entire opportunity pipeline. You will support Genesys growth across different industries such as: telco/outsourcer, government, banking, energy, automotive & health-insurance in South Africa.

    • It’s also not a “manage and don’t do” role. We are looking for a thoughtful leader and strategic partner to work in a hands-on style providing expertise around specific areas of interest, to discuss industry best practices and development of high-level strategies

    What you’ll bring to the table:

    • We are looking for someone able to lead through passion for great CX, innovation and commitment to results. Your consultative and selling experience is a key for succeed, together with your ability to communicate with all levels within customer or prospect’s large multinational accounts organisations.
    • Your superior active listening skills will drive you to collaborate effectively alongside multiple team members, in an international and dynamic environment.

    Some details about what you’ll do:

    • Manage Genesys Enterprise accounts through accurate quarterly forecasting, account resource coordination, account strategy and planning
    • Develop and maintain competitive knowledge on industries/verticals and products
    • Collaborate with peers and management around ways to continually improve the sales process
    • Cloud enterprise software or CX industry experience is a plus
    • Identify customer needs & effectively understand / respond to customer objections
    • Connect client’s business objectives with Genesys offerings and solutions
    • Negotiate and close sales campaigns
    • Provide guidance on customer and prospect corporate strategic initiatives
    • Build and expand relationships with Economic Buyer in prospect & customer accounts but also within our partner eco system
    • Ability to communicate with all levels within the partner/customer/prospect’s organization
    • Assist in creating an environment of team work and continuous improvement

    Minimum Requirements:

    • previous business-to-business experience (ideally Sales for a Software Company or System Integrator or working for a Transformation Partner) with a track record of success in complex and Consultative Sales Environment
    • Sales experience in Cloud or Saas based software sales in customer centric
    • Proven record of meeting/exceeding established goals
    • Excellent written and verbal communication / presentation skills

    Preferred Skills

    • Enterprise software, Transformation partner or contact center industry experience
