    Account Manager ICT

    Account Manager ICT

    • This role exists to directly engage with Innovation Hub (IH) Partners, supporting and enabling  their business in representation of MTN. Ensuring that the agreed Partner commitments are  delivered in line with MTN’s business priorities and the Partner's satisfaction

    Key Performance Areas: 
    1 Driving Profitable Growth for MTN Business 

    • Manage the daily relationships with Partners to achieve incremental value, the agreed yearly    targets and partner satisfaction 
    • Implement Partner commercial plans and execute sales joint actions to increase sales across    defined product categories
    • Manage sales activity to meet Innovation Hub targets and agreements compliance
    • Implement activities to promote and support the Innovation Hub Partners

    2.Focus on providing exceptional Client Experience

    • Be pro-active with client engagement across the Innovation Hub Partner Channel
    • Coordinate with Client Services to deliver a best in class client service for Innovation Hub
    • Capture product requirements, Marketing and Sales support needs to serve the Innovation Hub and  align with MTN Business functional areas to deliver them

    3.Ensuring Culture of Operational Excellence

    • Support the EBU Business leads and Innovation Hub GM in the definition and setup of new  Partnerships
    • Once approved, setup the appropriate agreements in line with the business case and guidelines  defined by the relevant functional areas. 
    • Must coordinate internal teams to formalize agreements as required (ie. Legal, finance…)
    • Provide relevant inputs to management teams to support the definition of the partner strategies  and priorities

    4.Instilling appropriate Employee Excellence 

    • Act as an ambassador and role model for MTN Enterprise Business by living the brand values and  vital behaviours

    5. Ensuring appropriate Governance and Control measures 

    • Manage the daily relationship GTM Partners to achieve incremental value, the agreed yearly  targets and partner satisfaction:
    • Define and execute a yearly partnership plan in coordination with other GEBU functional heads
    • Deliver on the business case for the partnership generating the agreed incremental value
    • Manage and resolve all partnership related topics and issues, coordinating and leveraging MTN  resources for their execution and/or resolution
    • Capture the business strategic guidelines, manage and update the existing agreements, MSA and  SLAs and drive the appropriate agendas with the Partners
    • Identify Partner issues and ensure corrective measures are put in place

    Supervisory / Leadership / Managerial Tasks: Refers to the responsibilities for directing, guiding, motivating and influencing others.

    • Manage contributions and expectations of external service providers and stakeholders
    • Contribute towards ongoing liaison with other areas of the business 
    • Accountable for a customer centric culture and shift to legendary service provision
    • Build professionalism, loyalty and commitment to the organization
    • Communicate actively and effectively resolving any potential conflicts that may arise
    • Have the self insight and flexibility to adapt to different situations
    • Live the MTN Brand – change and influence employees behaviour 

    Education:

    • Minimum of 3-year degree/diploma in Business/Science or related. 
    • Technical degree with commercial higher-level qualification preferred

    Experience:

    • 3+ years relevant experience in partnership or service management
    • Experience working in a medium organization 
    • Innovation Hub sales
    • Alternatively, relevant farming (retention of client and growth of client revenue) sales  management
