    Account Manager: Legal - Cape Town/ JHB

    About the Role

    Developing trust relationships with a portfolio of clients and acquiring a thorough understanding of key customer needs and requirements. Expanding the relationships with existing customers by continuously proposing solutions that meet their objectives. Delivering target growth in subscription revenue for current contracts with existing customers in the corporate market and create a strong future pipeline of new up-sell opportunities within this customer base.

    Responsibilities

    • Builds and maintains effective long-term relationships and a high level of satisfaction with key senior-level decision makers and influencers at an assigned group of customer accounts that may include major strategic customers within a geographic or industry focus.
    • Identifies, develops and typically closes new sales opportunities.
    • Creates demand for the organization's products and services by raising their profile with customers.
    • Achieves revenue targets by increasing revenue spend per account.
    • Conduct regular status and strategy meetings with the customer's senior management to understand their needs and link them to the organization's product/service strategies.
    • Direct contact with clients and moderate authority/opportunity to set and negotiate product/service terms.
    • Continues to build knowledge of business, financials, products/services, the market or account needs.
    • Working with moderately complex territory/assigned accounts, products/services, sales or account management.

    Requirements

    • Legal sales experience
    • Software sales experience
    • Previous similar industry knowledge
    • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role
    • Matric (Essential)
    • Sales or Marketing qualification (advantageous)
