    Account Manager

    Who we are looking for

    We have an amazing opportunity for an Account Manager based at our Johannesburg office to join our growing team and work with some of the world's leading brands. We are looking for a hands-on, customer-centric, target-driven Account Manager, who has a passion for delivering customer delight and growing market share. 

    The successful Account Manager will not be afraid to get their hands dirty and walk the hard yards when necessary in order to achieve the best outcome for our clients and our business.

    If you are interested in bringing a unique and unexpected perspective into our customers’ businesses; if you are interested not in selling features and benefits of our products but in providing insights into opportunities the customer had not realised even existed, then we want to hear from you.

    Key Accountabilities:

    • Fostering customer relationships to deliver the best possible outcome for all
    • Meeting performance targets (commercial KPIs)
    • Excellence in Account Management and customer service
    • Understanding the world of BTL and (preferably) in-store
    • Account planning and management 
    • Stakeholder management
    • Managing briefs from concept to completion
    • Performance Reporting (commercial)

    Requirements

    • B.Comm degree or Tertiary Business qualification / Sales & Marketing qualification
    • 5 yrs selling experience B2B
    • 3-5 years experience in an Account Management role
    • Experience in team dynamics (has worked as part of team environment / cross functional teams)
    • Understanding of and ability to do market research (competitors, clients, landscape etc)
    • Well-spoken and well-written
    • P.O.S / display selling (advantageous)
    • Analytical, organised and comfortable with managing tasks and process adherence
    • Strong with administration within the sales process and customer management
    • A firm understanding of commerce (the sales world)
    • Agency experience of managing blue chip accounts
