Accountant 

Afrocentric Group is currently recruiting for an Accountant on a contract for 6 months contract. The incumbent to the role will be responsible for timeously and accurately maintaining accounts and reconcilliations as per service level agreements.

Responsibilities

• Review of General ledger accounts monthly
• Preparing monthly schedules
• Preparation of management accounts
• Preparation of forecasts
• Preparation of budgets
• Monthly Vat submission
• Balance sheet recons
• Responding to audit requests

Qualifications

• Bcom Hons in Accounting and 3 years’ experience in a large entity or Bcom Accounting Degree with 5 years’ experience.
• Proficiency in the following systems: Evolution, Advanced excel and Oracle
