Summary

• Computer literacy (Microsoft Office) is essential, Capacity to work a 12-hour shift for both Day and Night, Good interpersonal and communication skills, Must be able to function effectively independently, Fluent communication in English is essential. 

Requirements

• Grade 12 or equivalent NQF level 4 qualification
• Accounting Degree (BCom) / (Articles Advantageous)

Work Experience

• Previous Accountant experience advantageous
• Any accounting system experience (SAP experience advantageous)

Knowledge

• Advanced computer skill (Excel and Word)
• Excellent Interpersonal and communication skills
• Supervisory skills
• Preparation of monthly management accounts, with all relevant information. (Income statement, Balance sheet and volumes and targets and ratios)
• Monthly reconciliation and finalization of trial balance
• Review of supplier reconciliations prepared by the creditors clerk
• Review of Balance Sheet reconciliations
• Petty cash control and processing on SAP (Cashbook FBCJ)
• Preparation and submission of VAT, PAYE, Provisional Tax and Income Tax
• Monthly audit of payroll
• Ensure that Procurement officer follows up on open Purchase orders and obtain correct invoices
• Drafting working papers for the auditors and assist in any queries for year-end purposes
• Assist with any ad hoc duties
• Cashflow forecasting
• IPD for staff need to be performed for submission to the RFM
• Assisting the RFM in performing the annual budget & rolling 12 months forecast
• Prepare and Submit Stats SA submissions
• Adherence to deadlines as instructed by RFM and HM
• Assist nursing departments with relevant weekly and monthly reports as required
