Accountant (Cost) at Glencore

   In this role you will be responsible for:

• Financial and Cost management dutie
• Annual Budget Preparation
• Monthly forecasting and reporting
• Capital Project Planning, Asset control and reporting

 About you:

• BCom degree (NQF Level 7)
• Minimum of 3 years proven experience in cost and accounting management environment
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in SAP PM/COUPA system
• Proven experience in project management following PMBOK guidelines.
• Capability to prioritize and plan work activities, efficiently to meet deadlines and work in a team environment
• Good orientation and knowledge of mining and or beneficiation industry
• Communication and interpersonal skills
• The successful candidate should be able to work independently, under pressure and overtime over month end as the work dictates
• Work on multiple task and projects simultaneously
• Strong technical skills involving cost analysis and attention to detail
• Medically fit to work on surface
• Valid driver’s license
