    Controller (Systems)

     QUALIFICATIONS

    • Grade 12
    • Full N2 certificate in the Instrumentation field of study
    • Instrumentation trade certificate
    • Completed POE for Section 26D trade certificate

    SKILLS REQUIREMENTS

    • 3 years heavy industry which includes 1 year of PLC, SCADA and Industrial Networks (Ethernet; ProfiNet; Modbus; Modbus TCP; Profibus, and Optical fibre installations)
    • Experience in Siemens S7 PLC programming (Step7) and WinCC SCADA configuration
    • Working knowledge on Visual basic; C++ programming and SQL will be advantageous
    • Good Interpersonal and Communication skills
    • Able to work under pressure, adaptable, attention to detail

     JOB OBJECTIVES

    Sampler (Lab) – B1

    In this role you will be responsible for:

    • Receive all incoming samples.
    • Verify sample information (request form).
    • Log incoming samples in logbook and LIMS according to sample information.
    • Prepare samples for chemical analysis (dry, split, weigh, and mill).
    • Prepare XRF pellets.
    • Perform moisture and particle size distribution determination (sieve analysis).
    • Maintain continuous improvement of the quality management system.
    • Participate in safety meetings.
    • Report all sample preparation data on excel.

    HR Manager

    Job Purpose

    • To provide strategic Human Resources leadership and partnership to the operation by ensuring the implementation of the Group People Strategy, and that people practices are effectively supported.
    • The role is accountable for leading the full Human Resources function at the operation and serves as the principal Human Resources advisor to the General Manager and operational leadership team. The incumbent will ensure the consistent application of Group Human Resources policies, standards and governance frameworks while fostering employee and union relationships, building organisational capability and enabling sustainable business performance.

    Roles and Responsibilities

    • Partner with the General Manager and Operational Leadership Team to align people initiatives with business objectives, providing strategic HR advice and insights on organisational effectiveness, talent, employee relations, legislative compliance, people-related risks and workforce analytics to enhance productivity and business performance.
    • Implement and embed the Group People Strategy, HR frameworks, policies and standards across the operation.
    • Promote a high-performance culture through effective implementation of recruitment, performance management and succession planning initiatives.
    • Develop and maintain constructive relationships with recognised trade unions and employee representative structures, promoting sound employee relations while leading consultation, collective bargaining and wage negotiations.
    • Provide strategic guidance on disciplinary, grievance, incapacity, poor performance and dispute resolution processes.
    • Lead organisational restructuring initiatives, including Section 189 consultation processes, Section 197 transfers and other legislative change processes where applicable.
    • Represent the company and prepare witnesses/bundles of evidence at the CCMA, Bargaining Council, Labour Court and/or other dispute resolution forums where necessary and as required
    • Drive the Company's IDEAL (Inclusivity, Diversity, Equality, Advancement and Local) Framework, promoting an inclusive, diverse and respectful workplace culture through leadership accountability, employee engagement and behavioural change initiatives.

    • Drive the implementation of performance management, talent identification and leadership development processes, while supporting leaders to enhance employee performance and effective people management practices.
    • Drive employee engagement, organisational culture and employee wellbeing initiatives to enhance employee experience and organisational performance.
    • Manage HR resources and budgets to ensure the efficient delivery of HR services while driving continuous improvement and standardisation of HR processes.
    • Lead the implementation of the site's Learning and Development strategy, ensuring alignment with operational requirements, legislative competency standards, mandatory legal appointments, and the effective delivery of mandatory, technical, leadership, bursary and learnership development programmes.
    • Oversee the governance of the HRD Training Centre and ensure compliance with Skills Development legislation, including the Workplace Skills Plan (WSP), Annual Training Report (ATR), and all related training compliance requirements.
    • Ensure compliance with all applicable employment legislation, Company policies, governance standards and POPIA requirements, while maintaining accurate HR records, documentation and statutory reporting.
    • Drive HR governance through effective risk management, internal and external audit readiness, implementation of corrective actions, and the promotion of ethical conduct in line with the Company's Code of Conduct and Speaking Openly framework.

    Qualifications and Experience

    • NQF 7 in Human Resources, Industrial Psychology, or a related field.
    • A Postgraduate Qualification in Employee /Labour Relations Management / Labour Law and a Business Qualification is an added advantage.
    • Minimum of 10 Years’ experience in Human Resources of which at least 5 years at Management level.
    • Computer literacy (MS-Office, Email and Internet) and report writing.
    • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, at all levels of the organisation.
    • Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills.
    • Strong problem solving and decision-making skills.
    • Extensive experience within mining, heavy industry or manufacturing.
    • Proven experience leading Human Resources within a highly unionised environment.

    Trade Accountant

    • We are looking for an individual who will perform period close, intra period close & project requirements as part of Coal and Bulk Freight marketing trade accounting team.

    PRIMARY TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Execute the month end trade accounting close per profit center based on International Financial Reporting Standards “IFRS”.
    • Prepare detailed monthly IFRS P/L and working capital reporting.
    • Review and reconcile department management reporting.
    • Support regional offices with accounting challenges during period close.
    • Coordinate the department`s external audit, internal audit and financial governance processes.

    Sampler (Laboratory) Snr

    In this role you will be responsible for:

    • Supervise all activities relating sample receiving, preparation, screening analysis and moisture determination
    • Ensure all sample preparation complies with the ISO 17025 and ISO 9001 standards
    • Maintain discipline amongst the sub-ordinates.
    • Reporting samples preparation results on LIMS
    • General housekeeping of the sample preparation area and sample storeroom

    Planning Superintendent

    • The incumbent in this role will be responsible for providing support to the Technical Services Department in developing viable business plans for Group Services and Goedgevonden Complex.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Developing mine plans to support the budget, life of mine plan, scenario planning and project planning.
    • Undertaking equipment planning to ensure the execution of business plans.
    • Measuring the execution of the equipment plan against plans and reporting compliance.
    • Supporting monthly reporting activities related to production forecasting.

    • OR Completion of the Graduate Development Program and minimum of 1 year experience as a Planning Officer.
    • Proficiency in relevant scheduling and planning software will be advantageous.
