    Artisan Aid (Fitter)

    QUALIFICATIONS 

    • Grade 12
    • Full N2 with relevant trade theory
    • Applicable Engineering Aid Certificate

    SKILLS REQUIREMENTS

    • Experience in heavy industry, gained preferably in a furnace smelting operation
    • Experience on SAP and Isometric will be advantageous
    • Knowledge of the HSEC systems

    JOB OBJECTIVES

    In this role you will be responsible to the Artisan (Fitter) for the following:

    • Assisting with maintaining and repairing plant equipment and to install new equipment when required
    • Planned maintenance system inspection with fitter
    • Overtime will be worked when so required
    • Shift work can be expected during shutdowns
    • Standby work will be worked when so required
