Job Description

• We are seeking a meticulous and organized Accountant to join our team at our Hyundai Richards Bay dealership. The ideal candidate will have experience in financial management within the automotive industry and possess a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices specific to dealership operations.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and manage the financial transactions and records of the dealership, including income, expenses, and inventory
• Prepare financial reports and statements for management review
• Perform regular audits and reconciliation of financial accounts
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure financial goals are met and budgets are adhered to
• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts
• Provide financial analysis and recommendations to improve profitability and efficiency
• Stay informed of industry trends and changes in regulations that may affect financial operations

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• CPA certification preferred
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in automotive accounting
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
