We are seeking a meticulous and organized Accountant to join our team at our Hyundai Richards Bay dealership. The ideal candidate will have experience in financial management within the automotive industry and possess a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices specific to dealership operations.
Responsibilities:
Monitor and manage the financial transactions and records of the dealership, including income, expenses, and inventory
Prepare financial reports and statements for management review
Perform regular audits and reconciliation of financial accounts
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
Collaborate with other departments to ensure financial goals are met and budgets are adhered to
Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts
Provide financial analysis and recommendations to improve profitability and efficiency
Stay informed of industry trends and changes in regulations that may affect financial operations
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
CPA certification preferred
Minimum of 3 years of experience in automotive accounting
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
