Accountant (Hybrid)

We are currently recruiting for an Accountant for a Real estate investment company. The company is based in Johannesburg North, and the successful candidate must come with 3+ years’ experience as an Accountant.

Minimum Requirements:

• Relevant BCom degree in Accounting.
• Experience working with Pastel and Sage.
• Essential: Full knowledge of SARS/VAT/PAYE submissions.

Main responsibilities include:

• Monthly VAT reconciliations and submission on SARS e-filing
• Cash flow prediction.
• Recalculating Treasury payments to be made and investigating differences
• Other adhoc projects and duties that may be allocated by the Manager.
• Maintaining the Treasury payment schedule on behalf of the finance team.
• Recalculation of commission claims.
• Preparation of bank reconciliations on a weekly basis.
• Weekly creditor payments and cash management.
