A reputable organisation within the property space is seeking a motivated Accountant to join their finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting financial operations, maintaining accurate records, and assisting with reporting functions across the portfolio. This role offers excellent exposure to property accounting, particularly within retail portfolios.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with day-to-day accounting functions
Prepare and process journals and reconciliations
Support month-end and year-end processes
Maintain accurate financial records and reports
Assist with budgeting and forecasting
Work with property-related financial data and reporting
Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures
Analyse and interpret financial data using Excel
Job Experience and Skills Required:
B.Com in Accounting or related field
1–2 years’ experience in property accounting
Retail property experience is highly advantageous
Intermediate Excel skills
Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset
Confident, proactive, and a go-getter attitude
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
