Duties and Responsibilities

• Analysing and reporting on management accounts on a monthly basis to management
• Monitor and manage cash flow within the budget
• Cost management and inventory control
• Compile audit file
• Management of debtors and creditors to ensure optimal cash flow
• Compile trial balance on a monthly basis
• Review and approve journals and EFT’s on a daily basis
• Perform reconciliations of trial balance accounts on a monthly basis
• Implementing & monitoring internal controls
• Ensuring that the relevant operational and financial information is reported accurately and timeously
• Ensuring that VAT is calculated accurately and submitted and paid on time
• Continuously liaising with internal departments, auditors, clients and suppliers with regards to relevant transactions and services

Minimum Requirements

• BCom Degree with Accountancy
• Completed articles (SAIPA and/ or SAICA)
• Applicable experience in a fast-moving environment
• Experience in similar position will be advantageous
• Ability to function independently within team context and to accept responsibility
• Strong analytical, numeracy and interpersonal skills
• Excellent computer skills and the ability to work with Excel on an advanced level
