Accounts Administrator: Billing Coordination at Nelson Mandela Bay Metro

Qualifications and experience required:

• B.Com. degree/National Diploma in Accounting.
• Computer literacy (MS Office applications).
• Three years’ relevant work experience.

Key attributes and competencies:

• Ability to identify problem areas and introduce remedial action.
• Ability to work with a high degree of accuracy.
• Good oral and written communication skills in English.
• Statistical analysis skills.
• Ability to supervise staff.

Job purpose:

• Coordinating and controlling the application of accounting procedures associated with the billing of accounts, monitoring the accuracy of financial controls, monitoring the accuracy of information/statistics on the Tariff Analysis Schedule upon which all electricity, water, sewage and trade effluent forecasts are based. Guiding and developing personnel on the processing sequences. Attending to specific administrative processes.
