Accounts Payable Specialist - 6 Month Fixed Contract at Property24

The OLX Group is looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist who will be responsible for the full accounts payable function with a key focus on vendor and contract administration, collection and processing of vendor invoices, ensuring timely payments of company debts and providing administrative and compliance support.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to

• Manage the creditors and expenses function and ensure accuracy, timeliness and integrity of financial information
• Prepare and review supplier and balance sheet reconciliations
• Perform banking functions including the loading of payments
• Coding and allocation of payments made done via the cashbook system
• Vendor onboarding which includes overseeing the VRA submissions and BBBEE due diligence processes as well as commercial and contractual reviews.
• Maintaining the contract register to ensure and accurate and complete record of company contractual obligations and that contract renewals and or terminations are performed timeously
• Perform expense accruals and accrual reversals
• Manage company credit card processes including tracking, recons and approvals.
• Processing and managing refund requests
• Assist with BEE audits

Requirements

• Matric plus creditors qualification is preferred
• 5 plus years in a similar role
• Highly organised and proactive with excellent communication skills
• Passionate, high energy and positive attitude
• Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
